Classic Studio Lighting - New Member Workshop

Just got back from lecturing in Prince George to a group of enthusiastic photographers (professionals and soon-to-be professionals) on the subject of Classic Studio Lighting and Posing. The Professional Photographers' Association of BC has been holding New Member Workshops for the past 8 or 9 years with the intent of ensuring that all new members and soon-to-be members of this provincial association are grounded in the basics of professional photography with subjects like Beginning Photoshop, Sales and Marketing, the Business of Photography and Classic Studio Lighting and Posing. With a very low cost for registration, the participant is exposed to two full days of information; for the seasoned veteran, this workshop is a great refresher! It never hurts to go over the "basics" again.

The current speakers making the lecturing circuit are all Master Photographers with years of experience in the photography business (over 100 collectively!): Michael Moster of Langley, Andrew Simpson of Abbotsford and Kent Wong of Kamloops. To round it off, Sandy Dunn, our provincial secretary, gives a breakdown on the association structure.

If you're interested in attending one of these workshops, it doesn't matter what part of BC you live in, there's likely to be a location close to where you are; in fact, give Sandy Dunn a call at 1-877-857-1569 or at 1-604-857-1569 or drop her an email at sandyg@uniserve.com. We'd love to help you get better at your craft and chosen career as a professional photographer.
